Jingletown Arts & Business Community (JABC) is a dynamic grass-roots assembly of neighborhood artists, musicians, merchants, businesspeople and other residents, come together in the spirit of cooperation and symbiosis, to foster and nurture community, to encourage and promote the mutual exchange of ideas, creativity, resources, expertise, sponsorship, productivity and patronage. In a time when our neighborhood is growing by leaps and bounds, it is furthermore our goal to stimulate in the greater Bay Area and beyond, awareness of and support for the rich and diverse population of working, exhibiting and performing artists, and other creative denizens of Jingletown.
Pin Up Photography Sessions
The Pin-Up dates back to the 1890s and we're bringing that tradition into the 21st Century. Pin-up photography is all about the seamed stockings, high heels, rotary phones & red lips, If you want a retro kitten look or even vintage couture, We can create a unique session that will curl your toes with our never ending selection of kitsch & kooky props to play with as well as terrific poses. We can also arrange to have a professional makeup artist who specializes in vintage looks so your pin-up photography session will be the bomb. Each session starts with a personal consultation where we will discuss what you like and what type of photography session you are interested in. We are able to help out with costume ideas and themes that make you feel special. Photography sessions can be as simple or as complex as you desire.
History of Pin Up Photography
The pin-up dates back to the 1890s and I'm bringing that tradition into the 21st Century. Pin-up photography earned the nickname cheesecake from a magazine editor who picked out an image of a pretty girl and declared, "This is better than cheesecake!" The most famous pin-up is Betty Grable's Bottom, which sailors and airmen would pat for luck as they ran to their duty stations. Pin-up is about fun and teasing. But we can work together to make the pin-up you want, whether copying a style from the past or making something modern and new. I can arrange for a makeup artist to give you the 40s classic style or something more like Lady Gaga, from the subtle to the outrageous, your pin-up will be fun and sexy.

Girls just want to have fun and Bay Area Boudoir is introducing a thrilling new way to have fun. Private Pin Up Parties are an exciting way to play dress up. Gather your gaggle of gorgeous girlfriends or bring in your fantastic Bridesmaids and come party with our whole studio team. These parties are a great way to spend the day with your favorite friends, enjoy an afternoon of photo shoots, snacks and playing dress up. Pin Up Yes we do offer evening parties as well. What a great way to spend a girls night out! Parties are $300.00 per person with a 4 people minimum. A $300.00 deposit is required to book a party.
